About

Rebecca McCann

BSN, RN, IBCLC, PMH-C

I've been supporting babies and new families since 2005. I began as a mother-baby registered nurse (RN), became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) in 2010, and spent over a decade working in hospitals, NICUs, and outpatient clinics. Since 2021, I've been in private practice, offering personalized, in-home and virtual lactation care.

I also hold a certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C), and have advanced training in areas like tongue tie, bottle refusal, and flange fitting. My goal is to help you meet your feeding goals - whatever that looks like for your family - using up-to-date, clinically informed care.

As a military spouse and mom to three boys, I've lived across the country and understand how important it is to feel supported when you bring home a new baby. â€‹

No judgement. All are welcome here.

Google Review

"Rebecca is absolutely amazing. Her professionalism and compassion is top notch. From our very first meeting, she was attentive to our concerns, questions, and needs. Her encouragement and advice was priceless. I don't think I would have made it this far without her. She asks great questions and gives great guidance when addressing issues. What I really appreciated was her non-bias approach - Whether we were leaning toward/trying out pumping, supplementing, or pure breastfeeding - she was supportive and in-tune with our needs and preferences. I also loved that she intentionally included my partner and helped him settle into his role as well.

The logistics of connecting with Rebecca is so easy! The MilkNotes app she uses keeps all your information in one place, including care plans and messages.

I 200% recommend her!!"
